There are SOOOO many issues, hangs, dropped from server occurrences you will not want to spent your time. I suggest single player and wait till they fix it.
And one more thing……. Knifing is a joke. People can knife you from 10 feet away. It also seems those with lag actually benefit in that they are not where you think they are. Its such a fucking joke, I seriously think they should have a server option where you just dont have knives altogether. The game is lacking in controls too. Remote Chopper uses different controls that you use for flying the chopper! (WHAT?)
You can’t have the same key for something even if your mapping it to diffent class of functions (For ex. you cant have ARROW DOWN do something when your on FOOT and then something Different when your in a CHOPPER or in a VEHICLE.
How could the game NOT be able to differiencate between what states your character is in and allow for this?
Makes for a shit-ton more keys to learn and remember which pecks away at the fun.
Maps dark are almost a joke if they have 25-30 people on them as you will be picked off and never know where it came from, and it will keep happening over and over.
Ive been playing BF2 ince its been out, BF2142 since its been out, Special Forces as well, so its not like Im not familiar with the game play. I think the devs were tainted with the console mentality on some things, and that’s a shame.
Not perfect in many ways, but then again, how fucking long have we waited? PC 1943 never came out. BF3? Probably never happen…
