Google’s “Liquid Galaxy” project

Apparently one of Google’s 20% projects (where they allow teams to work on personal project 20% of their time), is a curved wall (don’t know if its 360º), HD TV’s in a vertical alignment.  Not sure if they are plasma or LCD, but wonder why video notes how loud it is.  This would be a prime canidate for OELD.

For your Star Trek fans, it definitely has the “Holodeck” thought cross your mind.  It uses a modified version of Google Earth so you can go anywhere, even the moon.

I think I read about this before, It looks really cool. I mean how cool would that be if you had one in your house? I don’t think us geeks would ever leave.

This would be so much fun!
