Punk Buster is a necessary evil in the world on online gaming to help reduce the idiot cheaters out there.  Many routers prevent the auto update that PB can perform and so they have a "PB Setup" application that I use and actually prefer.  It maps paths to you aps and checks all of them at one time.

Well last week I updated my PB files and then all of a sudden I get kicked from BF2, BF2142 with this message:

Ignoring Queries #90006

After doing some research this is apparently an error tied somehow to the update.  BF2 and BF2142 have been working without issue for quite some time.  I only play on PB servers so that only leaves the update as the reason for the problem.

You can play for 3-5 mins, then you will get the message.  I also brought up the console once I started a multiplayer game to watch the PunkBuster information hand off between client and server and that portion works fine.

So just a heads up to you fellow Vista gamers.  I have a ticket open with EvenBalance in hope to help bring this to their attention.
